May 2018: PWHS Co-director Chris McLeod is a co-author on two new papers in Occupational & Environmental Medicine examining lung cancer risks across different occupations and industries in Ontario and the burden of lung cancer attributable to diesel engine exhaust exposure across Canada.

April 2018: Our new study in PLOS ONE examined the association between multiple versus single jobholding and time to RTW for workers with a work-related musculoskeletal disorder.

March 2018: The Canadian Association for Research on Work and Health Conference will take place Oct. 21-23, 2018 at the Pinnacle Hotel Harbourfront in Vancouver. The conference organizers welcome abstracts from researchers, students, and practitioners conducting work and health research.

March 2018: PWHS visiting scholar France St-Hilaire will share her insights and results from her work on workplace psychological health at the weekly SPPH Occupational and Environmental Hygiene (OEH) seminar on Friday, March 16 at 12:30 in SPPH B151.

Identifying return-to-work trajectories using sequence analysis

January 2018: Our study on associations between different work-related musculoskeletal disorders and return to work trajectories found that workers with back strains were more likely to have early, sustained return to work trajectories.
