Day of Mourning, and 2026 Report on Work Fatality and Injury Rates in Canada

April 2026: On April 28, 2026, workers, families, and employers gather at commemorative ceremonies to honour the workers who lost their lives last year due to workplace injury and disease and renew our commitment to creating healthy and safe workplaces for everyone. These ceremonies provide a moment to pause, reflect, and recognize the ongoing importance of our work in health and safety, and to reaffirm our shared commitment to preventing future harm.
